The Story
From Kingston to Coaching Legacy
In 1979, George came to this country as a young inexperienced 19 year old from Kingston, Jamaica in the West Indies. Growing up on the island, he would always hear people say that America is the land of freedom and opportunity, a place where you could be whatever you wanted to be.
After living in this great country for over 45 years, George is a living example that America is truly the land of freedom and opportunity. This freedom and opportunity has allowed him to maximize his ability to the fullest — from NJCAA Champion to PAC-10 Champion at the University of Oregon, to representing Jamaica at the World Championships and three Olympic Trials.
Regardless of your sport or personal fitness goals, Training by George will help you maximize your potential to be the best that you can be athletically and personally. It doesn't matter who you are or where you're from — Training by George will provide you a caring, nurturing, and positive environment that will allow you to grow tremendously.
